I agree with the previous posters...get the B&S issues resolved, whether it is the mouth-piece or the horn or whatever. Any dents in the lead-pipe or tuning slide?

No fight from my part ! I had translated all the norwegian above, and I gave you my advice "the best would be to ask a good trumpet teacher". But, for the fun, I wrote it in the Basque language : I guess quite difficult to translate for most of us …

    To address the first issue,
what intonation issues does the B&S have. I have never heard of a B&S Bb trumpet with bad intonation. I also know of no problems playing with a 3C in tune. A 16C4-GP with a weak embouchure/breathing will cause a lot of grief though.

Without knowing you but having read many of your posts, I suspect something quite different. I don't think any other trumpet or mouthpiece will help. I suspect playing issues that are universal. That means it would make more sense to fix what is broken instead of trying to compensate with hardware.

    Just my suspicion.

"AAAHHHHHHH Google translator strikes again!!" wrote Tobylou : for info, I AM Basque. But for the norwegian, I confess I use Google…
Erlgro : what I said (in Basque) seems close to Rowuk's suspicion.
