I would like to know if anyone might know a good website where I can download a song, instead of a whole album. Or if anyone could be kind enough to send any sheet music to my email account: [email protected]

    Many thanks
    Anto

It's been my experience that most bands that do this music have their own arrangements that are done by someone from within the band.

I have arrangements of about half of that, but they were all done by my bandleader, and as a result, I'm not at liberty to give them out.

This is true, but you can get sheet music for Earth Wind and Fire, the problem is it will be a full album and expensive, when I might only want one or two songs off the album, which would make it very expensive.

    Thanks again

What are you talking about? You say you can't buy sheet music for one song, but have to buy all the sheet music for all the songs on an whole album??

lol, I graduated from high school in 1983 and I think we played Hal Leonard marching band arrangements of half of that list.

As a starting point, you could buy a music book like the one below:
The Big Book Of Disco & Funk - Sheet Music Plus
several of the songs you've listed are in this book when I looked down the list (you'll need to click a link to reveal the whole list). There were some other books like collections of Earth Wind and Fire etc....

This would at least help you to figure out the chords and your keyboard, bass, guitar players could learn enough from that. It would be up to you to work in the horn parts from there. You would most likely want to change up the arrangements a bit to make better endings as the ones in these books can kind of be lame and predictable (of course this is disco and most every song has to include the word "boogie").

    Many thanks gglassmeyer,

I will have a look at the books you've suggested, it will be a great help.

    Many thanks again.

    Hello Jon,

I was looking at a few sites for sheet music, and basically I could only find books with a groups greatest hits, or maybe an album, which would work out expensive considering I might only want one song in the book. I am basically trying to find a website that sells trumpet sheet music, where you can just buy a specific song.
