I've found that taking a coffee stirrer clipped down to an inch or so makes a nifty tool for practicing a focused breath.
Any other little tricks out there for us corporate drones ?

I do that even though I'm not confined to a cubicle. I incorporate the pencil exercise routine WHILE I blow. Lots a fun!

Those others (less important ones) will get used to your buzzing - my workmates did, they just think I'm a little nutty.

I find drinking the coffee is a great natural stimulant that enhances my breathing as well. Not to be humorous here as sometimes my comments are not taken seriously, and I probably disserve this; however, 5 cups of coffee are equivalent to a dose of theophylin which does improve pulmonary function in those of us with asthma.

And to demonstrate how old I am, do any of you actually remember theophylin or even heard of it?

I do the ping pong exercise every day in class. It always attracts a lot of attention though. Most teachers are too impressed to yell at me for it.

Haha, no, not that. Its where you take a ping pong ball and keep it up in the air with a consistent, fast and focused stream of air. It seems easy but give it a shot. To add to the difficulty you change the angle from vertical until you reach a 45 degree angle.

More like Lol Moments: floating ping pong ball trick - YouTube But without dropping it.
