    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could help me figure out how my new trumpet is tuned. Its a Conn 202by. Does that make it a b flat trumpet?

    Thanks

There's a nice simple way to work it out, play a note down it into a tuner, if it says Bb, it's in Bb!

OK. Which, if any, valves should be depressed in order to get a b flat note out of a b flat trumpet?

Oh! I didn't know you were knew to the trumpet! I assumed when you said new you meant you got another one, sorry.

Don't press any valves down and play a good solid low note.

    Or post a picture ;)
