I don't think I've ever felt unwelcome anywhere. I tend to try and blend in with the crowd.

This forum is great and very diverse. Besides talking about trumpets, it's almost like we can discuss every genre of music such as Frank Sinatra...

It's very fun to discuss trumpets and music.

Speaking of which....did they ever find a new principal at the Chicago Symphony?

The video was Scream Machine as you can see Maynard did do it I also said that James Morrison might have done it too which really set him off...

Scream Machine was written for The US Army band as a Trumpet feature, recorded by Dave Stahl The Lead Trumpet for the Army Blues Band.I knew Maynard had done it and Morrison had an album released called Scream Machine which is what I said. The guy went on to say that Morrison has never done it and that Stahl, the original , was better than Maynard. Really.I too love James Morrison's version he is an ultra talented musician with high chops and he is unbelievably great as an improviser. Here is Dave Stahl version for comparison.

La Trompeta you are right that is why the guy was cussing me out and saying that it wasn't even the same song. However it is from the album Scream Machine and he went way out of his way to troll me attacking every one of my posts.James Morrison's song is great even if it's not exactly the same arrangement.
