    It appears we have 2 winners on this one. KT did it and with only one entry. Nice job. Perhaps more, but as of this time and after an initial search, cannot find information on Freddie Hubbard's father.

    I lived in New Jersey for 20 years until 2006. We used to catch the jazz brunch in Greenwich Village on Sundays at the Village Gate. It was always a delight to listen to the music and the history of jazz from DOC CHEATHAM, a very, very nice and approachable person.

    DOC Severinsen, and a Getzen Eterna "Severinsen" model ---- or what a minute ---maybe it was the Destino ----- I think it could be either horn, but definitely the DOC!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL ROFL ROFL

    Which Doctor is credited with the medical specialty which is able to keep gmonady on the stage for more than 1 hour???? ROFL ROFL ROFL

    HINT: this doctor also accomplished these things.
    He was also a physician & surgeon,[2][3] author,[4][5] inventor and Kansas territorial & state legislator.[6] He was one of the founders of Baker University,[7] the oldest 4-year college in the state of Kansas

    Or another way of putting it -- which medical specialty in general enables GM to stand up on stage while preforming at his advanced age??

    hint: The study of aging and the treatment of problems in the elderly frequently addressing the psychological and social aspects of aging, in addition to the physical aspects
