Doc's Getzen on ebay..... I know a little misleading..

    If you look at the certificate in the pics, you see the model number 3001LE, which is currently the Artist Model line of trumpet. This particular one is probably just a promo. You probably wouldn't have to work to hard to get Getzen to build a 3001 LE with that style engraving, I'd bet.

    I really like that Getzen 3003 they show on their website. Looks pretty spendy, though I am sure reasonable compared to a Monette.

    The justification of a Monette has nothing to do with the price. It has to do with the completely different concept that some but not all understand and some but not all need.

    There is no decision more gratifying than one that cost no comprimises. That applies to ANY brand of horn if that is what you really want.

    If we only use money to compare things, we devalue the artistic aspects. We simply need to accept that choice is one of the biggest advantages to modern times. The various brands are their to fill the needs of MANY different desires.

    Let us just accept the fact that fine wines, cars, houses and trumpets CAN cost alot.
