The Olin Company supplies a lot of brass to manufacturers world wide.
Alton, Ill supplies tube products and they have a sheet products company in Southern, Missouri.
Alton plant also makes bullet shells and shotgun shells and a bunch of other products.
They have a rifle, pistol, skeet and trap range owned by the factory where you can buy a supply and shoot all day.

To add my $0.02 there are no brass instrument companies that own their own plate and tube plants let alone a smelter. They all by off the shelf brass from mill suppliers.

I wonder where Yamaha buys their tube and sheet? I heard they buy it from Viet Nam where the brass comes from recycled American artillery shells.
