    Greetings ! Eddie here from Tampa Florida.

    I played a similar song as below in 1981 and it was the last time I played the trumpet. I was never really that good. In 1981, the song below did not yet exist. Long emotional story but now I'm starting to get interested in playing again because I heard the following song for the first time in my life last year and it somehow captured my soul.

    Do you know of any recordings on CD that have a trumpet sound that is extremely similar to the trumpet that plays for the first 67 seconds of the following song.

    Below is a link to the track in WMA format (6Mb Quick Download);

    I would love to find one or two CD's with a trumpet as close as possible to that. I don't want to wear out and get sick and tired of my all time favorite trumpet recording.

    Whatever you can suggest that is as close as possible in the mood, melody, style, ambiance, tone, tempo, texture, etc...I would hugely appreciate.
    I have surely searched high and low and i've already spent money on various CD's that were not close enough.

    Kind thanks,
    Eddie
