I bring my instruments in the van, when I take all the kids to the city for "the day of lessons". I sit in the van a long time and figure I may as well practice. Today, I realized that while the bugle may have survived the repair shop, it won't survive being on the floor of my van along with motor oil, cd cases, pens, and other stuff. The old 5 minute bugle guide that I printed off the internet says to make a drawstring bag out of flannel. I didn't have any flannel, but I found some thick fabric and made my bugle a drawstring bag. (The cub scouts are making draw string bags this evening (Tuesday) and I didn't want any surprises, so I tried it out. It's very easy.) I will post a photo later, when it is a decent hour. Eventually, I'll post a before and after shot of the horn.

    My new, not professional bags.
