As we all know it's winter time (gotta love it) anyways I'm currently having some slight issues with dry chapped lips and my buzz. I'm doing the best I can but all I can really get out of my horn is a very "airy" sound, kind of like it doesn't have any "meat" to it. Anyone here have any suggestions on this issue?

Chapstick and a very decent warm up usually do the trick for me in the winter. Then again, Australian winters aren't exactly the coldest ones either.

Agree that lip balm will help. Also, keep your humidfier in your house at a level to keep moisture at 50%. If out in the wind, cover your face with a scarf. Do not forget to lick your lips frequently.

    I am a carmex junkie...
Plus hydration, though being in AZ my body is used to dry air now.

    Blistex addict here.

BTW, I've seen these little personal humidifiers. I've been thinking about getting one.

Lip balm(ChapStick) is good but a well humidified room is your best bet.:D

Since we're getting a Dr.'s opinion: is there any significant difference between a cool mist or warm mist (evaporator)?

I don't think there is any difference. The main thing is getting the moisture into the air you're breathing.

Avon Care Deeply Lip Balm.......the stuff is amazing ! It's Aloe based. I buy 12 tubes at a time and it lasts about a year for me.
I let my Fiance try it, she loves it too.
