This past week and a half has been interesting & enjoyable for me. First, I had the opportunity to try the Wild Thing and then on a recent short trip I had the opportunity to play the Eclipse Medium Red.

First of all, I think that the Eclipse is the most elegant horn made. The details of the horn, including the bracing, give it a cool look. Second, it is very easy to play and has a very even feel throughout all the registers. It responds quick and has a wonderful sound. A terrific horn that you could use for any situation. I have seen quotes by jazz trumpeter Trent Austin raving abut his large Red. Now, I know why he likes the Eclipse model so much. If you are going to ITG you need to take the time and stop by the Eclipse booth and talk to Bruce Lee about their line of horns and give them a workout. You will be very pleasantly Surprised.
