I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but telling us about your new release and encouraging us to go hear it (with the none-too-subtle implication that we should maybe buy the CD), smacks of commercialism here on this forum.
I only speak for myself and don't want to rouse anyone's ire, but I'm uncomfortable every time I see another of your posts. You would better serve your fellow members if, instead of urging us to listen to the "new" "What is this thing", you steered us toward Chet Baker's version. Or Miles's. Or some other jazz great's version. Then we could really learn something.
No offense intended.
Hell it dont bother me!
we should all support each other as trumpet players. so why you rteally hate-n deecy
dont hate. partake!
Okay, I must be missing something on the page because all that happens when I click on the PLAY link is another page opens. I am using winXP. Suggestions will greatly appreciated.
I always enjoy hearing about and listening to your latest recordings!
With Nick being one of the few profesionals that we have contributing to this site I think he can do what he wants. He knows many of us on here enjoy his style and he is only sharing it with us. Big Friggin Deal!!
Keep doing what you do Nick.
Looking forward to the CD.
Keep us posted.
