Anyone here experienced or is experiencing ETD? What are the effects of it on trumpet playing?

Hearing yourself play is the biggest draw back... That and cuing on others in the ensemble. I had one heck of a time with it two Winter's ago, then my doctor put me on Flonase... within 3 days, I got my Eustachian Tube back again. Also make sure it's not just an ear wax plug. That could do the same thing. See your physician... I did, and it made all the difference in the world to me.

And I'm 100% + sure GMonady you know how an ear wax plug can effect one, but for others, it zeroed all my music both playing and listening and all my TV and voice telephone also. GM prescribed what restored my hearing as is still better than it had been for a long time. And I'm still laughing as to what was prescribed.
