    Hi everyone,
I'm looking into buying an Evette and Shaeffer American with a serial number of 687386. Any insight on this brand of trumpet would be most appreciated. I'm curious to know their rep on the valves among other things. thanks!

Still no more info on these Evette and Shaeffer American trumpets? Bought one of these a year ago and starting to play with it and really like it. Cannot find a "real" serial number on it, only a 4 digit number on the #2 valve....

Are you referring to Buffet American trumpets? I've never heard of a Evette & Shaeffer "American" trumpet before.

Yes it is pretty much like the Buffet American stencil trumpet or like the Buffet Crampon trumpets.

What is the root company that owned the design of the horn?
