F/G Trumpet?

    There are certain pieces of baroque music that work fantastically on a G trumpet (any C parts), especially Bach's Cantata #51 or the Vivaldi double. Once you have played them on a G, you will never go back to a piccolo.
    I have also used it for parts of Pulcinella - it made it much more reliable for me - 8 performances in 2 days (!) and not a single note missed :D
