Last week I graduated from Renton Technical College with a certificate of completion in Band Instrument Repair with Guitar Technology. Today I’m very happy to say I’ve accepted a job offer at Quinn the Eskimo Brass and Winds! I’m super excited to get to work with great people and cool horns! Can’t wait to get started!:)

Congrats! As far as I'm concerned, good instrument techs are more than just fix-it people - they are artisans.

Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone! I’ve been looking forward to getting into the repair field for along time, so it’s super exciting that it’s finally happening! It’s also exciting to be working for a business that’s not just the typical school horns and rental fleet. After apprenticing at Oberloh Woodwind and Brassworks, that might feel a little anti-climactic! I’m also glad to have found a job that can be flexible so I can still continue to gig regularly. Life is good!:):play:
