Favorite College Marching Band?

    I was just giving those from other states a hard time about national football champs. Yes, I totally agree. Southerners are great. My EdS is from Jacksonville State. Had to marry the Dean's daughter to get through (my wife never seems to like that joke, oh well). Good music program.

    Right up the road from JSU is Gasden State -another powerhouse in terms of teaching. Rip Reagan and his group do a fine job with developing players. Saw Maynard there many times.

    I marched with the Riverside Community College Marching Tigers from 1987 to 1991. Yes, four years at a two year school! I'm an original "Hot Tuna", as the lead trumpets were called then. Good times.
