The tone that guy can get out of a piccolo trumpet, even at such a high pitch is amazing.
Glad you liked the list. I wanted to add another melody to it. It's a sweet but unusually haunting Chinese melody played on an Erhu called 'Endless Love' but when I searched Youtube for it, another song with the same title kept coming up. The one I was thinking of would make an interesting piece for a cornet or trumpet.
(I just hope people realise my addition of 'The Macarena' was a joke!)

The tone that guy can get out of a piccolo trumpet even at such high registers is amazing! The song seems to be from a famous classic Italian movie.

EDIT: I thought my previous post had disappeared so apologies for posting twice!

Seriously? You want more? I could post for hours on this thread if you wanted. However, there is playing to be done so I'll leave you with just a couple more. Some Japanese songs would make great trumpet pieces, such as...

Koi ni ochite - Akiko Kobayashi

Love is over - Ou Yang Fei Fei

Kawa no nagare no you ni - Misora Hibari

Toki no nagare ni mi o makase - Teresa Teng

    Mirai e - Kiroro

    First Love - Utada Hikaru

    Subaru - Tanimura Shinji

Well, you did ask for more! And karaoke tracks are readily available for almost all Japanese songs.

I have to say that my most favourite song has to be Georgia on my mind.

Hands down, I always have fun playing the One Note Samba, as well as an upbeat hard swinging Autumn Leaves

It is indeed from Frederico Fellini's "La Strada." The song's original name is "Traveling down a lonely road" by Nino Rota.
