    I liked it. Thanks a lot for posting it. I think that it's nice when members of rock groups play the National Anthem publicly. It shows the youth of this country that it's cool to be a patriot. Even jazzing it up is fine with me. If Bach could improvise, so can Flea. On a related subject, a few years ago, there was a movement to change the National Anthem to America The Beautiful thanks to Ray Charles. I'm in favor of this. It, in my opinion, is a superior song.

    I don't think that would ever happen. The PC crowd would never allow a song that references God to be associated with this country. Pity...

    Flea was supposed to have been a really good trumpet player in high school. Looks like he still has it, too.

    I like how as soon as he's done, he switches from the perfect posture to jumping around

    WHAT?!? FLEA PLAYS TRUMPET??? I like his bass already, never knew he played trumpet too!

    Yep, played in H.S. I think his step father was a jazz musician. He's on the Chet Baker documentary 'Let's Get Lost'.
