But, isn't that tilted bell pointed at the ceiling??? What difference does the projection make when there's nobody sitting up there?:dontknow:

Ha Ha!! It only points that way if you have "perfect posture". Thats what makes it a GREAT jazz horn. Play towards the floor and it still projects.

Well now, with the best of my horns, the Conn 56b in particular I can "feel" the feedback thru my hands and know I'm playing right. At certain notes I'll feel the vibes thru the valves, the leadpipe, bell, slides, etc. Sort of hard to adequately describe but I know if I feel powerful, yet regular vibes as mentioned I'm doing OK and my audience has reason to be pleased as well. Not something I noticed overnight, more of a gradual learning curve.

I know what you mean. My 80A is the same way.

Me too, with the Connstellation. Some notes more than others, not sure why. When you're REALLY feeling it, I think that means you've got your notes well centered.

A standard Getzen Eterna 900 Classic gives very good feedback too - and it fits in a standard case.

Conductor's faces often provide more feedback than we want!

And if someone is sitting in the next stall, something even softer may be encouraged.

And if they use only half of their face, would that be a semi-conductor?
