    Hey all,
I am looking for a flugelhorn concerto to play for a contest, any suggestions. If you could post a links to where they can be heard and/or bought or viewed, that would be greatly appreciated!

You'd have to do the transcriptions yourself, but Frank Fezishin's CD "Classical Flugelhorn" should be required listening for anyone contemplating such a performance.

Sorry if some of these are repeats; I'm not going to look at all 593 in the first response. And I've taken the liberty of including some pieces which may no be technically in the form of a concerto, but which can be good performance choices.

    Nicolo Ferro: "Black White"
    Ronald Hammer: "Arioso and Caprice"
    John Golland: "Concerto for Flugelhorn"
    William Himes: "Concertino for Flugelhorn"
Franz von Suppe: "Des Hirten Morgenlied" (good luck finding it, but you'll be one of the few performing it if you do)
Richard Peaslee: "Catalonia" (flugelhorn in second movement, trumpet in the remainder)
    Andre Weigman: "Rhapsody for Flugelhorn"
