Flugelhorn Help

    I have a ZeuS ZFH 800R Professional Flugelhorn and the f (first space) is sharp and it erks me :x. Any help besides lowering the pitch with air?

    Are the other 1st valve notes in tune?

    Just that F. Ill have to get a tuner and double check everything. I didnt wanna pull that first valve slide out and end up messing with all the other notes

    Where's your spit valve? And what kind is it? I know it sounds weird but it IS going somewhere.

    There goes that theory....I'm not familiar with the north but how close are you to Jaeger Brass?

    If it isn't too bad of a trip, I cannot recommend Ivan enough.

    This may be more of a pain... but have you tried false fingering the F as 1,3 and engage your 3rd valve trigger?

    Wrong F Gary. The first line F has no alternate fingering

    I think he meant alternate finger the f# with 1,2,3 and then using the 3rd trigger to lower to F but i feel that would be more sharp then the sharpness im hearing in the F with 1
