Wipe it really well with a cloth while the solder is still liquid. Use a motion of picking up so you don't smear it down the bell. After that you would use a scraper to get the rest off, then polish. The goal is to remove the softer solder but leave the brass alone.
Thanks! What do you mean by "motion of picking up", please? As English is not my mother tongue I don't understand this.

You'll want an almost "rolling" motion.
No video that I know of. The wet rag can act like a sponge, pulling the solder up and away from the instrument.
If you want to send it to me I'd be happy to fix it no charge. But the shipping will probably set you back about $30 each way. Or you could unsolder the part left on the horn, put both parts in an envelope and send them to me. I'll silver solder them and return them. Again, no charge.
