Fun trumpet features

    What are those trumpets with the odd shaped bells called(the lead player is playing one)?

    They are some sort of custom rotary trumpet. Look under at the pic to help:

    You can also just google some stuff. They are much more common in europe than they are in america. A french horn has rotary valves, so if you put those valves on a trumpet that's what you'd have, kind of.

    Ah yes, Schagerl Gansch Horn

    I didn't realize they were rotary. They look cooler than the Dizzy model trumpet, but similar in concept.
