    Mr. Laureano,

I was just curious to see if I could get some input on these horns. There is a good chance that I will be purchasing one, and if I am not mistaken, it is one that was used in the Minnesota Symphony at one point. :-) It's a C, and I just wanted to know what you think of their overall playability, sound, etc....

Thanks so much in advance! -Max Matzen-

    dear Max,

I'm the wrong person to ilicit opinions about rotary trumpets. I've played Ganters and don't remember any characteristics about them that made me want to jump up and down with joy. The same goes for Monkes I've played. I once played a Lechner and thought it was okay. The Schagerls we play, likewise. Just be careful of the intonation like you would with any trumpet.
