Gap year programs?

    Welcome to TM. As for the English recommendation, I am still trying to figure out the language. That is why I have BigDub as my editor.

    Here in the United States,taking a gap year is usually a post graduate move. I took a year off between my Bachelor's and Master's degree. It gave me time to reflect, practice, make money by working in a car wash and chase girls. I was planning to do the same (without the car wash) between my Master's degree and PhD, but became a working trumpet player instead.

    I took my gap year(s) between my fourth and fifth years of college in Asia during the Viet Nam conflict. I also worked on my horn, made a little money and chased girls. Not necessarily in that order. :evil:

    Yup. But it's the gap between my ears that made me a moderator.
