Getting the best of learning and practicing double tongueing

    I believe that Herbert Clarke had the universal answer - divide and conquer. Always practice softly. Practice articulation first with Tu, Tu, Tu then Ku, Ku, Ku. Do that for 4 weeks or so, then ADD Tu Ku, Tu Ku, Tu Ku. Start SLOWLY and make sure that everything is precise! USE A METRONOME and do NOT accept UNEVEN! Patience is the key.

    I also believe that confidence is an asset. If your claim to being fairly talented holds up, cool. If not, the rest of the world gets the message fast enough.
