I've had my same Reunion Blues triple trumpet bag for 30 years. Holds 2 large trumpets (Bb,C or Flugel) and one small (picc,D,Eb)
I use the smaller compartment for mutes and other stuff that don't fit in the side compartments most of the time.

I've been all over the world with it. It is my carry on for plane flights. Never had a ding to my horns that I could blame on the bag.

So you can buy a Monette case for your non Monette regular trumpet?? considering...;)

Do you have to send musures??

The xlt, lt and prana1 horns are "conventional size".

This is what I use, nice selection of colors, good protection, and a fairly low price (I got mine for $60ish dollars). Sure it probably won't protect your horn completely if you throw it down a flight of stairs, but I would say just be careful and it will serve you well. :)

I second the recommendation for the H&B Galaxy bags. When I bought my Bach TR300 a couple of months ago it came in a Galaxy Contoured Trumpet Bag. It doesn't have as much space as the one Ted mentioned but it's certainly designed well. Here's a link for it...
