I'm looking to do a project/presentation on a baroque trumpet piece. I've looked around a bit to think of good ones, and I have one in mind right now (the well-known Vivaldi's Concerto for 2 trumpets in C). BUT, if you know any totally amazing pieces in the baroque period featuring trumpet soloist(s) or something that's originally brass chamber music, I would love your input.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I love Bach for chamber music. There's the 2nd Brandenburg Concerto, Bach's Christmas Oratorio Finale, or the Bach-Vivaldi Trumpet concerto (last movement). I love baroque music. It just pushes the limits of technical trumpet playing.

Telemann Concerto in D for Trumpet, 2 Oboes and Continuo

You won't find much original stuff for brass ensemble with the baroque trumpet. The "brass ensemble" pieces from the baroque era used Cornetto. Gabrieli, Pezel, Holborne are three composers with brass ensemble works.
