    Happy Independence Day Everyone!

(at least to everyone in the good ole U.S. of A.)

Enjoy the family gatherings, picnics, cookouts, fireworks, and the concerts.

Have a safe and happy holiday.

We watched the Patriot and had a talk about Independence Day and the Revolution. Tomorow I work. I anticipate more talk about it... can't stress it enough to the young'uns.

And a happy 4th to you.

This is the first time in about fifteen years that I am not marching.

I played in a parade every year at Block Island. It is really something.
Huge crowd. I don't know why they didn't hire the band this year.

I have one memorial service and then a picnic on the beach.

    Have a great day!

    Yee HAW!
I will be doing what I do every year on the 4th... watching the Boston Pops on TV. That's one heck of a performance they put on (although I watch them every time PBS broadcasts).

Happy 4th youse guys down south!
