    I assume the only guy without a suit was allowed to play because he brought the arrangement.

    I am not aware of any symphony concert where that would not be branded as exceptionally obnoxious. That the video showed up on YouTube is proof that someone was trying to get even - or that dudes extreme lack of taste. My grade: D-

    As far as ANALysing his problems: Arms cramped up against his body, nipping for air instead of intelligently phrasing. Body tension galore causing him to miss the notes leading up to the end (slow 16ths are probably unimportant to this guy - only for classical players!). Wimping out and only playing the fifth as the last note (a real lead trumpet player ALWAYS octave the root!).
