Bagman, I'm using a stock B6 that I picked up on eBay a long time ago but I'm waiting for Jason to ship the SWE B6 MP I have ordered to match the trumpet, when it is back from plating - I've asked for it to be silverplated (like the trumpet) but to have the cup and rim plated in gold - 'cos I just lurves the goldplating feel, taste, warmth, and appearance. Jason will tell you that the SWE MP is not really necessary and he was happy to supply a trumpet without the specialist MP - I've succumbed though to the great MP solution - again.

What you have all successfully done is put a doubt in my mind about the true weight of my new trumpet - tomorrow I will take it to work and place it on a calibrated close tolerance electronical scale thingy and report it's actual true weight - now I won't sleep. Grumpfph  thanks.

Well, just most people agree that my horn is on the heavy side and i doubt that its 1.5 Kg
(I'm not having problems with what it means, I'm having problems with the idea of a horn that heavy)

I play with a guy who plays a Bravura and is a lead player. He shakes the room when he plays the high notes. The horn responds so well that the weight isn't an issue.

    Bagmangood,

We can't underestimate the added strength Vegemite brings to the human body. ;-)

    Best wishes,

    Lloyd

Not trying to be a jerk, but stock Bravuras weigh around 3 pounds, not 3 kilos.

    Peace.

    Ah!
It is not a lead trumpet then,

    Ha!

3 kilos would be real tough to hold up for a 4 hour gig!
