That makes a lot more sense
Gents - 'how embarrassment' - I stand corrected, and you have all been so polite.
My Bravura has sat, this morning, on a set of calibrated postage scales and weighed in at precisely 1.45 kilograms (including it's MP). 1.45 kgs equates to 3.196699 lbs (Avp) or, because the trumpet is a little gem - 7250 carats, NOT the 3 kgs I previously posted.
This is my error and you have been such gentlemen about this obvious lunacy of mine that I, once again, am humbled in your (electronic) presence.
I think I'll just stay quiet for a bit (I think I can do it) .
Not a problem for me, Ted. i was just pointing out that you were on the metric system instead of the english. not being familiar with the system/conversion, i wouldn't know the difference anyway........Buck
In a way it makes me sad that it is only 3 lbs. Just the thought that I was holding up a 3 kg horn was making me feel very manly.
Harrelson Bravura b-flat
Harrelson Bravura C
Getzen 800 Eterna cornet
Kastul 920s picc
Jupiter 846RL flugelhorn
But look at the bright side. It can be used as a door stop when not being played.
the horn is so powerful that the door gets blown off the hinges. No doorstop needed!
Hmmm....haven't seen that one yet!
Although, I have managed to destroy the upper hearing spectrum of several sax players!
Of course! With Sheilas 3 kgs in the right spots can make a ton of difference!
Thinks ... There isn't a smiley showing me leading with my chin?
Do you know what kind of lead-time Jason is working to? I ordered my Bravura at the beginning of November, but haven't heard anything yet.
