have you ever vastly improved in short time?

    Amen, borother Jarrett!!!

    Listening and paying attention to what you are doing and going on around you will make you a better player almost instantly. (than you would be if you continued to play in your own little world, which I see around me all too often in my community groups, band and orchestra :-( )

    Firstly, I have to agree with Jarrett. There's a simply amazing trumpet player in my school's band, and I've learned alot just from playing with him and getting advice from him and such. :) Having a good teacher always helps, too.

    I don't have an amazing range like most of the people here seem to, but I've only been playing for a handful of months and I can play up to high C, so I'd consider that a pretty drastic improvement. I still have a long way to go though, but I'm trying my best.

    Consistency makes accuracy~
