Yes, the Barron Falls - I've flown a B767-300 Simulator up the Barron Gorge in my previous life - you get to see the trees really close to the wingtips, and you really have to turn through those bends, just below the falls, pretty sharply - otherwise you hit some Cumulous Granitous with a large grating sound - then the screens on the simulator go blank.

I wonder if Dr. Schmidt would be interested on a missionary trip to Australia? He and James Morrison could have a high note contest....

Gee, Ted, did I get the answer correct? I mean I found the official WATERFALLS website and such --- "I can name that tune in 3 notes, oooops, I meant, I can name that waterfall in 3 words" --- LOL ------ "NAME THAT TUNE" was a popular gameshow in the USA for like 2 years -- LOL ROFL ROFL ROFL

I wonder how consensus was reached to establish and assign authority to an "official" website for waterfalls? I would not believe everything I read on the internet, especially if it contradicts real observations and other reliable methodologies.

That probably goes for receiving trumpet-playing advice on those wacky forums too.

Dr. Schmidt has an official website, so why not waterfalls? I wonder what the highest and loudest waterfall is on the top ten list....

Khone Falls. I suspect it's one of those trick questions, like "What is the tallest mountain in the world?" Everyone thinks of Everest, but the answer is of course Dinali in Alaska. Everest rises 12,000 ft. from a 17,000 ft. base, while Dinali rises 18,000 ft. from a 2,000 ft. base. Never bet another man's game.

I think we should give him a new nickname: Bull. As in: Wow! that was Bull Shmidt!!!

I searched and searched genealogy records and found the family. Like many of these records some inconsistencies appear in the spelling over time and such is the case in the Smidt family records.
