In the 60 or so years I have played the trumpet I have had many wonderful experiences.
Being a moderator is yet another first for me.
This forum is a place to ask anything. What I don't know, I can find the answer to with a phone call.

    Welcome aboard, skipper...

There are nachos in the lounge, a wide selection of adult beverages, copious amounts of conversation, a never-ending flow of questions, and by the way... here's the key to the washroom.

    Welcome aboard Wilmer.

I'm looking forward to reading this forum given that pretty much everything you write is going to be from a "Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt!" perspective. I have often heard that experience can be a wonderful teacher and you certainly have your share of that! :-)

    Wilmer,

I only know of you what I have read here. (Your posts)

Could you give us a brief description of what you have done.

Are you a Broadway show guy or a Symphony guy or Opera or a little of all.

What is life like. I am guessing by reading that you are freelance. How do you get your jobs?
