I sure hope you think I was atacking you on some personal way, I asue you that is not the case. I might have a slight disagrement with you on the degree of amount of help a mouthpiece can be for a player but that is about it. Everything elese I have read of your's I think is great stuff and find worth remembering. But really caught my atention is what you have said you play.... do you have any place we can go on the web to hear you play a Natural trumpet? 30+ years ago while I was living in Enid, Oklahome marching in a Drum an Bugle Corps one of my friends parents had a huge, room filling record collection most of it clasical and I can remember going over one day and hearing some really neat trumpet stuff, I know it was broque but nothing more, but I would love to hear more.

This is probably the best recording of someone playing the baroque trumpet on Youtube.

YouTube - ‪Alastair Miles sings "The trumpet shall sound"‬‎

The name Nathaniel Mayfield stands out to me from my memory for some reason.

Not trying to be rude, but methinks it's been two weeks by now.

    How did the audition go?
