Thanks guys! I really appreciate the GREAT advice from all of you! I'll go ahead and talk to a couple places and see what they can do for it.

I'm definitely going to go to Kanstul, but maybe I'll wait a little to see all my options. Who knows, maybe they can do everything for me at Kanstul. I'll update this thread with my results when it happens.

    Thanks!

It is your decision. What to do with this horn? If you love it don't give it up.
You may have the silver stripped and experiment with the sound of raw brass. I know a buddy who had a trumpet glass bead blasted (?memory?) and "frost lacquered",I'll call it, but a year later, the finish was already wearing.

    Hi Vinney,

Part of the fun for me on here is checking out the links under posts.
I went to your site. Good job.
The biggest thing I want to say nice job about is your sound.

    "Good Job"

Yeah, I am interested in raw brass. I'll check it out.

B15M, Thanks for visiting my site. That recording it from back in 8th grade (I'm a senior in high school now). I'm going to be recording that with solos and different variations on it. Thanks again! It's good to hear feedback from people that I don't know

I can vouch for Oberloh. They overhauled my Bach "72" a few years ago. They do GREAT work! The horn plays just as good, if not better, than it did before they worked on it. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed at all!!

    Thanks Nerf!
I'll consider them. Sounds like they are well known around here.

Shhhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone about Oberloh. If they get any busier I'll never be able to get MY stuff done. ;-)
