    Hey anyone out there have an Arbans book or something just that I can step up one level I've been playing 6 years I want something a little more challenging that just the music I play In band.

    I would love a deeper mouthpiece then my parduba, something with a dark sound that I can use for marching band :D. It's my understanding that a darker sound travels further, correct me if I'm wrong.

    Um, well, I think the truth is that a louder sound with higher frequencies travels further. That would mean that a brighter sound travels further. But I'm no scientist, so don't take my word for it.
