    if it's the production with the verdi 'requiem', yes. i saw it a few months ago on the local state educational tv network. i've forgotten the orchestra...from the northwest?

    Hi David,

    No, it wasn't Verdi - it was a film of music being performed in Auschwitz for the first time. The programme featured music by Jewish composers that died in the camps, some new works and some 'related' works (eg. a movement Messiaen's "Quartet for the End of Time"), performed by some famous folks including Maxim Vengerov.
