    Hey guys,

I need the size of length for the leadpipe of a Holton ST-302 (Maynard Ferguson) Trumpet without the mouthpiece receiver and other accessories. Also tuning slide is regular style no reversed. I know this is a random question, i'm asking on behalf of a friend. I reckon it might be the same as other MF horns, so if you know the specs on those lead pipes, that would be helpful also.

Does your friend need a new pipe because hers is rotted out? I would send it to Charlie Melk, who will make a new pipe for her and install it, and so forth.

My friend IS a repair technician lol, apparently Conn/Selmer is being very uncooperative (surprise, surprise)

Charlie, when once I asked can he make a pipe, went down the line and showed me mandrels with each horn!

Your repair tech could do worse than to call Charlie for advice.

Conn-Selmer do not list any parts for the ST302. The model was discontinued before they bought the Holton name. I have always found them helpful, if a little slow to supply. The pipe is still current in the Allied Supply price list, so the least expensive option would be for your tech is to source it from them.
