How do i prepare for my first lesson?

    Be early. Be oiled. Warm the chops in the parking lot before your lesson.

    That's all great advice.

    It's funny to be slightly excited and even a bit nervous for something like this. Probably felt this way about the first day of school too...

    I do quite enjoy playing and practicing along with a CD or music, so i'm hopeful that these lessons will help me improve and avoid bad habits.

    What worries me is the first lesson is scheduled for one hour! I don't think I've practiced for more than 1/2 hour yet, before my lips are tired!

    Well don't worry, because your teacher is probably going to do some talking in between giving you tips, or recommendations on books, equipment etc. but it's not good if they talk the whole lesson. good luck:-)
