I think they made a mistake about the rim contour in the Yamaha's. The Japanese Yamaha website says 1 is the roundest and 5 is the flattest.

The diameters are fairly close between the Schilke and Yamaha, I would not be against using the Schilke system as a comparison, because they are so similar.
Yeah, I know. I just posted the link so people know where I got the information from. Unfortunately, the English site does not explain the sizing system.
Can we at least conclude that Yamaha 16C2 is not the same as Bach 3B?
Yes, nobody ever said it was the same. I stand by my posting saying that they are similar, and close to a 1 1/2B, but the 16C2 is not like the 1 1/2C.
