After watching the video in the other post I could probably almost instantly nail it down to breath support issues with you saying its not the lips. I have a problem with "playing out" and projecting my sound The higher I go the more thinned out the sound gets, even though my lips can hit it I can't bring that sound out without the note falling down to the next. I never really think about breathing or really payed attention to it first learning how to play. *I figured since my shoulders don't shrug that I'm doing it right* I believe I tend to tighten my neck muscles as I go higher. I don't know just alot of things like that. What can I do now to work on breath support and how much do I need to be practicing it?
