Embouchures are as individual fingerprints. When your mom finds finger prints on the cookie jar, you get hell. When the police find fingerprints at the scene of the crime, you go to jail. When your computer security system has been fed with your fingerprint, you get in.

In the case of a trumpet embouchure, finding the one that works for you is most often as easy as getting a decent teacher from the beginning and doing what they say. What works then becomes obvious very quickly. DIY trumpeters get more prints on the cookie jar, or at the scene of the crime......

Conventional wisdom calls for a flat chin, firm corners, lips resting (but not clamped) together. It works for most of the really great players, and it is amazing, but true, that the farther an embouchure is from this convention, the rarer a great/player musician.

Which embouchure is the most succesfull?

That's easy. For you it is yours. Schwab has it - get the best sound you can.
There are guys that play out of the side of their mouths, and sound great. So get a comfortable embouchure for you, and work on the sound. You will self adjust as you get better, based on getting a better sound.

The best embouchure is the one that works best for you, I use the one that works best for me , generally try avoid extremes i.e. bell pointing straight at the floor or ceiling and use your ears.

Search this forum - you will find many posts already written about this subject. Then let us know which one you find will work the best for you. Also, look in the mirror and record your playing so you can see and hear from the point of view of those who will listen to you play.
