How to put in a straight mute quickly

    I block ads on the site as well. Haven't figured out a KT spam jammer though....

    It's all in the familiarity with the piece of music. I sometimes write myself a note on the music a few measures before so I'll remember to get the mute ready (in the left hand). Then, it's no big deal to get it in the bell in time. I have a couple of those Manhasset mute holders, too, and they are handy because you can grab the mute easily while playing without having to bend down to the floor to pick it up.
