I have a county high school honor band audition tomorrow, and I feel like I practiced a little too much...
Is there any ways to recover my chops quicker?
    Does icing your lips help?

you want stuff that reduces inflammation... Ibuoprophen or Naproxem Sodium.

If you practice more consistently on a daily basis then you don't have to "cram" for an audition. Focus on learning trumpet fundamentals rather than the "tune of the week".

    Soft Tissue Damaga protocol...
    Rest
    Ice
    Compression
    Elevation....

But the best medicine is PREVENTION

Lips are small muscles... they recover very quickly.

    Thank you!
I didn't "cram" though. I just sometimes lose track of time when I'm practicing :p
