First work out basic rhythm by subdividing. Look at the groupings for hints as to how to phrase it. Are there phrase markings? - use this to help with breathing. Is there a repeating pattern of odd groups? Tap it out. Repeat until it feels natural. Then add the notes. Is it an odd grouping within 4/4 (1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2) Or a really odd time sig... 11/16.
I'm not familiar with this song but these are some of the approaches to reading odd metres.
Study the tune to understand where it is going...then you'll know where your focus should be. Sometimes an arranger will use odd meter stuff just find an interesting way to get to the climax of the song.
    Best of luck.
