WHAT "non trumpet playing types" have even heard of a Pinto trumpet???:lol:ROFL

Even so, thanks for the alert. It is SUCH an attractive horn ..... I think the blind guy at the factory designed it.

The "patina" on my valve casing is a shade darker than this one. Maybe this one was left in a car, exposed to the sun!

Oh, and to think I passed one up at the Bellmore Flea Market sunday for $40.00. Mea Culpa! I'm still slapping my nads over that heinous oversight.

For it is such a radical, epochal, ground-breaking design, timeless in it's simplicity and crafted by the BEST instrument maker in these here younited states.

The only way I can remedy this Lese Majeste' is to dig out my Fullerton Ambassadors and give'em a Buy It Now price of $500.00 each...Whaddya think Chappies?

Hey, isn't it one of those straight through valve designs??? Like the Superstar and Conn 40B ...... It doesn't play like an Ambassador, does it?

You could faux paint those valves. I'd suggest either a nice forest green or maybe tiger stripes.:dontknow:

They're not candy apple red often enough, are they???? Red seems like a good jazz color. I know I'm always impressed when I see an eBay ad that says, "Black Trumpet" (no brand, just the color) .... or red (but not often). And blue. These are industry signs of QUALITY, like engraved stars.:-)

What does the Pinto sound like? A car? A horse? A bean?:dontknow:

I dunno what it sounds like but don't hit it in the rear or the valve cluster will explode!
